The Requirements

The Role
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will join the HR team and take ownership of payroll for approximately 450 employees. Your role will be a mixture of HR responsibilities which you'll perform in conjunction with the Human Resources Coordinator and payroll-related duties, which you'll manage independently.The majority of our employees are non-exempt and work in the field. Follow-up on payroll issues will primarily be handled over the phone for this group. You'll also do payroll processing for approximately 25 exempt roles, and commissions for our sales team.
Specifically, you will:
- Ensure bi-weekly payroll is completed timely and accurately. Quick question for you - click here
- Review and audit timesheets.
- Work with managers and field personnel to resolve payroll discrepancies during input, such as clock in and out time corrections.
- Input data as needed for tax purposes, salary adjustments, bonus and commission payouts, unpaid leaves, etc.
- Process payroll (Accounting is responsible for payroll taxes, which are outsourced to ADP).
- Track deductions such as benefits and garnishments.
- Process new hires and terminations and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure I-9 compliance verification and re-verification
- Provide payroll reports to leadership.

- Managing perk benefits programs including Milestone, Employee of the Month, Safety and Referrals.
- Sending condolences and other cards.
- On- and off-boarding employees.
